What is the truth about Parking?
The parking plan as designed by the developer, approved by the town of Cedar Grove and described in the offering statement does not provide for resident street parking, except for the two street parking spots that pertain to certain condominium units without garages. Street parking through March of 2020 was designated as visitor’s parking as was approved by the parking plan. However, the signs were changed to resident parking to ban the developer’s contractors from parking in those spots and to alleviate the additional COVID 19 needs of the owners. The Resident Parking signs are not approved on the site plan and will need to be removed during the transition process.
In recognition of the COVID 19 crisis and with additional realities impacting the community, the two boards have met on multiple occasions to wholistically address visitor parking. The draft plan continues to be reviewed and revised and will also positively contribute to the snow plan.
